Membership Descriptions
Any Seventh-day Adventist who is credentialed as Registered Dietitian (RD)/ Nutritionist in their country/territory of practice, holds at least a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Any Seventh-day Adventist who is a registered dietetic technician in their country/territory of practice.
Any Seventh-day Adventist who does not qualify for Active, Retired or Student membership but meets one of the following criteria:
​
Credentialed physician/allied health care/public health professional who are actively involved in the advancement of ANDIA’s mission.
​
Any individual who has made a notable contribution to the field of nutrition and dietetics may be granted membership upon the recommendation of the Executive Committee.
Any Seventh-day Adventist who is enrolled in an ACEND accredited nutrition and dietetics program OR;
​
Any Seventh-day Adventist enrolled in a nutrition and dietetics program accredited in their country/territory of practice OR
​
Any Seventh-day Adventist who has successfully completed nutrition and dietetics or dietetic technician program accredited in their country/territory of practice but is yet to be certified as an RD or DTR. This category carries a one-year limit post completion.
​
Any Seventh-day Adventist registered dietitian who is currently enrolled as a fulltime student and is not gainfully employed.
Any Seventh-day Adventist who is a dietetic or nutrition professional qualifying for Active membership category and is no longer gainfully employed in dietetic practice or education, is at least sixty years (60) of age.
​
Any Seventh-day Adventist who is a dietetic or nutrition professional qualifying for Active membership category and is no longer gainfully employed in dietetic practice or education or has been retired on total (permanent) disability.
Anyone can join!
Any Seventh-day Adventist who IS NOT credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN), physician, nurse, allied health professional or does not have higher qualification in nutrition and wishes to support the work, mission, and philosophy of ANDIA.
Or
Any individual who is not a Seventh-day Adventist and IS or IS NOT credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN), physician, nurse, allied health professional or have higher qualification in nutrition and wishes to support the work, mission, and philosophy of ANDIA.
Who Can Join?

Any student enrolled in an accredited nutrition and dietetics program

Any retired dietetic or nutrition professional

Any health professional who is actively involved in the field of nutrition and dietetics.

Anyone who is a health enthusiast or would like to know more about nutrition in a vegetarian/vegan setting.
